When Walmart bought Flipkart back in 2018 for $16 billion dollars, it had the vision to take the Indian e-commerce giant public in about four years’ time. A lot has happened since then but the question still remains – Is Flipkart Listed In Stock Market?

Flipkart was started by two former Amazon employees – Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal in 2007. While the company is headquartered in Bengaluru, it is actually incorporated in Singapore. Similar to Amazon, Flipkart also started off selling one thing – Books, books and more books.

From there, they went on to sell electronics, clothing, home essentials, and groceries. They further diversified to own even more e-commerce sites such as Myntra and Jabong.

Now with this kind of rapid growth and the parallel fall of brick-and-mortar stores, it presents a business opportunity on a different level. Anyone could start a business and were not limited by the high entry cost barriers that are usually associated with this type of business.

From a founder’s point of view, you would be wondering how to get in on the boom of e-commerce. And from an investor’s point of view, you would be curious as to how you can also be a part of this revolution and not miss out.

Flipkart happens to be one of those e-commerce giants that established themselves before the wave of e-commerce, drop-shipping, and online selling.
